mySite - myRamblefest

I am not a Myth, I was proven plausible many years ago much to the chagrin of many.  Myth has become an entity to reckon with, even within herself.  I can't say that it is an alter ego, as it is not an ego as much as an extension of myself.

My name comes from a friend named Dave.  The reason behind it is very personal and doesn't shine a good light upon my character if you do not know me.  So I have a don't ask, don't tell policy about it.

What I will tell you is that it is derived from my rl nickname of MythChick and shortened by my friends in the Sims 2 community to Myth.  My close friends call me Mythie, but make no mistake, if I do not know you well and you call me that I will correct you in a polite and diplomatic way.  If someone calls me Mythie, they have earned that right through proven rites of passage.

There are a few others that have snagged the nick MythChick according to Google, I found one at a singles matchmaking site.  I give you my word, that is not me.  :o)

I am a bit of a "iron in many fires" type because I love to learn and create.  So you never know what projects I may be working on which is ironic in itself, because neither do I.

In Second Life, I really enjoy finding beautiful places created by others and snapping photos at odd angles and dragging them into my Corel X3 and poking at them.  I also derive personal satisfaction from photographing other avatars and making the people behind them feel like they are the hottest item of the day.  I have always wanted my own art studio and Second Life fulfills that goal in an odd way that my rl freelance art cannot.

I am open and friendly and very random.  I also think faster than I type and therefore am a typo queen.  I prefer to call these hopefully endearing flaws "Mythisms".

I am gabby as hell and know it and try to remember that others my just want the Reader's Digest version of a conversation.  So I may start rambling, but will usually get myself in check and understand that everyone's time is valuable and edit myself eventually.

Which brings me to the end, because this "bio" has turned into a ramblefest.  If you want to know more, you know my name and therefore how to find me in Second Life.

I hope that you too get what you need out of the virtual world that belongs to us all, always remember that it is a community so that you are helpful others and especially remember that there is a rl person behind the pixels.
